After ten years spent breaking through culinary boundaries at some of London's hottest restaurants, dynamic husband-and-wife duo Jacques and Michelle made the great trek back to the Cape Winelands to start Taste Ateljee, a wedding and special events catering experience. Drawing on the rich agricultural heritage of the surrounding Boland area, Jacques and Michelle create lovingly-crafted dishes made from the freshest locally-sourced ingredients.
Based in Wellington in the heart of one of the most celebrated agricultural regions in the Southern Hemisphere, Taste Ateljee serves a delectable selection of honest and wholesome dishes that allow the finely curated ingredients to do the talking.
We are inspired by and in turn would like to pay homage to our rich cultural and natural heritage, and this is reflected in the menu.
